That’s a Wrap!

What an amazing StarPower experience we had this summer! Our campers were fantastic! Collectively we set a creative vision, established goals, worked hard, and played even harder! We couldn’t be prouder of their accomplishments as artists, playwrights, songwriters and performers. All 27 of our campers collaborated to create an original production and an art exhibit!

Our final week at StarPower was spent doing all sorts of amazing, fun awesomeness! We rehearsed hard and put the final touches on our spectacular performance.

One of the most touching things about this group was the bonds they made and the ongoing support they had towards one another. I believe setting our intentions, infusing mindfulness, and making meaningful connections while tapping into our campers’ creativity and passion were key to our success.

Our final carnival day at camp was a blast! We started our last day of camp with our traditional appreciation and closing circle with time for us all to put closure and say “until next summer” to all our amazing friends. We got to make pet rocks or kindness rocks, have our final voice class and spent the afternoon outside tie-dying, playing with water balloons, having a shaving cream fight, playing in the sprinklers, and to top it off we got to go down some cool water slides!

Thank you for the opportunity to lead your child through the past two weeks. It was an honor and we can’t wait to see them again next summer!

In the meantime, if you want to continue the J Performing Arts Space (JPAS) experience, we will be announcing our Fall Class Line-Up soon and registration will go live the week of August 8th. This fall at JPAS, we have something for everyone from our Broadway Revue Showcase to On-Camera Acting, Beginner/Intermediate Jazz and so much in between. We hope to see your camper back in the Fall to keep the good vibes, creativity, artistic skills and personal development soaring. Many of our camp specialty staff will be returning to lead classes and workshops in the Fall and they are thrilled to have the chance to be reunited with our campers.

Please also mark your calendars as we hold auditions for our big main stage Winter/Spring Production in January and registration for that will open no later than November 1.

Shine Bright,
