When Camp Begins
Camp Central will be your point of contact through the summer.
It is located across from the fountain on campus. Picking up their kids early? running late? Is your child sick? Did your child forgot something? Is your camper going home with someone else? Please contact Camp Central to coordinate any camps throughout the day.

CARPOOLÂ INFORMATION

PURPLE ZONE is located at the Goldberg Early Childhood Center and includes Camp Simchah at the 7:45 and 8:45 AM carpool. Camp Simchah, families can either park in the parking lot, and walk their camper in or follow the left lane after the gate and turn left down the Camp Simchah Carpool line,then make a left at the bottom of the parking lot to drop their camper off at the GECC front doors. All cars will exit back out the main JCC gate to Northaven Road.
Please note, if you have a camper in Camp Simchah and any of the K-9 camps we strongly recommend parking your car, walking in, dropping off your Camp Simchah Camper and then your K-9 Camper.
BLUE ZONE is for all K-9 campers Proceed in the right lane until reaching the fence and turn left and move into the left lane. Proceed to the fence gate to drop off campers and then exit out to Valleydale Road.
Please note, parents can park and walk in to drop off their campers if they choose.
RED ZONE is located at the front entrance of the JCC and includes Gymnastics, Tennis, Sports, StarQuest/Power and Teen Travel Camps ONLY. These camps exit out through the main gate onto Northaven Road.
PURPLE ZONE is located at the Goldberg Early Childhood Center and includes Camp Simchah only at the 3:45 PM carpool. Camp Simchah, families will park in the parking lot, get their camper from Camp Simchah and load up their car in the parking lot. These cars will exit across the front entrance to the JCC following the Red Zone cars out of the main gate.
Please note, if you have a camper in Camp Simchah and any of the K-9 camps we strongly recommend parking your car, walking in, picking up your K-9 camper and then your Simchah camper.
BLUE ZONE is for Camp Chai campers plus siblings from any other K-9 camp. Proceed in a single lane until reaching the fence where the lane will be split off into 2 lanes. Proceed to the fence gate to pick up campers and then exit out to Valleydale Road.
Lunch & Snacks
Please send a lunch with your child Monday through Friday.
All drinks and snacks will be provided by the camp. Please make sure lunches are clearly marked with your camper’s name.
Hot Lunches Available
We have exciting news, you can once again order hot lunch this summer for your child provided by Palate Catering. You should have received an email with important details.
What to bring to Camp
Children should dress in clothes that enable them to participate in all camp activities. ALL CLOTHING & BAGS MUST BE LABELED WITH YOUR CHILD’S FULL NAME.
DAILY NEEDS
- Shoes for camp — tennis shoes are best, sandals are fine but please NO OPEN BACK SHOES.
- Bathing suit with change of clothes
- Tee-shirts WITH APPROPRIATE DESIGNS!
- Send sunscreen every day!
- Shorts, socks, towel, canteen or water jug (optional).

Gymnastics Camp
Please reference the Gymnastics Camp Welcome Letter for detailed information.

Camp Chai
Sneakers or closed toe sandals with a strap. No flip flops, please. Â Shorts and tee shirts, swimsuit, towel and sunscreen.

Tennis Camp
Non-Marking Sneakers, socks, shorts, T-shirts with appropriate designs, swimsuit, towel, hat, sunglasses (optional), and sunscreen. No flip flops or crocs please!

StarQuest & StarPower
Campers should dress in comfortable clothes that enable them to participate in all types of theatrical and outdoor activities. Please do not wear open toe shoes or sandals. For dance class, campers can bring any type of dance or jazz shoes if they have them.

Sports Camp
Sneakers, T-shirts with appropriate designs, socks, swimsuit (may be worn under clothes), shorts, towel, and sunscreen. There will be additional items needed for individual sports that will be communicated to you by the Sports Camp Director.
What not to bring:
Important: Campers should not bring valuable items, such as cell phones, to camp. Our camps cannot assume responsibility. Money is not needed at camp. Dangerous items, weapons and other inappropriate items are never allowed and will be confiscated immediately!
